Aberlady is the ideal base for exploring Edinburgh and the Lothian’s. Quiet sandy beaches, World renowned golf courses, Beautiful countryside, historic buildings and other visitor attractions.

Aberlady Nature Reserve

Aberlady Bay Nature Reserve

Aberlady Bay, was designated as Britain's first Local Nature Reserve in 1952 it is of Special Scientific Interest, due to its botanical, ornithological and geomorphologic significance. Several species of bird in serious decline nationally are abundant here.

Myreton

Myreton Motor Museum

Established in 1966 Myreton is home to a large collection of cars, bicycles, motor cycles and commercial vehicles dating from 1899.

Museum of Flight

Since 1975, the Museum of flight has displayed its collection of aeronautical delights. It recently won the bid to display Concorde. The collection comprises aircraft, rockets, memorabilia, archives, instruments, propellers, models and photographs.

the home of The Edinburgh Malt. Here you can see a working distillery, the making of a capital malt in every respect. An exhibition of malt whisky is housed in the listed red brick buildings.

Only 15 mins drive away from Aberlady, Belhaven Brewery is the largest regional brewer in Scotland. The brewery itself dates back to 1719 making it Scotland’s oldest surviving brewery. Guided tours are available. but booking well in advance is essential.
